Buying a color laser for my home was a solid investment.

I think I'm finally ready to abandon my ancient HP all-in-one

Thankfully it's from before they went full shit, but I don't print regularly enough for an inkjet to make sense

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a compact colour laser all-in-one. I still need to scan shit a couple of times a year, so it's useful to not need a dedicated appliance.

I've not really looked much myself yet, but I already know Brother, Ricoh and Epson are probably who I should be looking at for a decent printer (other recs welcome too)

I bought a brother. I think it’s part of a series (3200) though I’m not sure if you consider than compact enough. No issues with the Ricoh I have at work either. The brother is just very user friendly. Works fine with off-label toner as well.

Brother started rejecting previously accepted third party toners in our color laser printer at work. We had plenty of new toner that we can't use but it used to work before with no issues at all. I used to love brother laser printers, they were well built and no fuss but I guess the canon/hp shit got to them too.
