...Killing Shroud seems to really clash with the whole general tone and theme the game's going for right? To end this overall pretty light-hearted comedy game on slowly and pretty graphically strangling someone to death after beating them to a bloody pulp? And before that if you go with the (Arguably best and canon) option of giving him both vials, which leads to another comedy scene, the tonal whiplash is even worse! Even if you don't agree with the "Batman mindset" or whatever, sparing him seems like the "canon" choice after everything the game has shown and told you up til' that point.

idk not killing him clashes with the story too, but that’s a problem all capeshit deals with. You want me to believe killing a literal world destroying monster is too far? Please, they gotta go

You know that guy who is smarter and stronger than everyone one earth? The one who murdered all those people? The one who is particularly adept at scheming? Yeah we put him in prison again, he’ll only escape and kill a few thousand people every couple of years.

tbh one of my favorite parts of the game is that it even lets you make this decision, and also if you do commit, it doesn’t send your love interest at you to say some shit like “you’re better than this”. You just kill that mfer and nobody really questions it
