From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I left the server right after taking the screenshot. I do not have any interest in debating either trolls or fascists.

the Linux community in general has a bit of a right wing issue from what I can tell and I can't really understand why that is.

Social isolation -> loneliness -> disdain for society -> fascism

so you assume that the typical linux user is socially isolated and lonely?

Is the typical Linux user a right-winger? Truth be told, I do not know.

no, i think not. pretty sure theres even a possible left or libertarian slant, but not right wing. they are the fray and they shouldnt bring shame on us all.

The isolation can be anywhere, they are pointing out the stages. Linux community is not immune.

Linux does not have a systemic problem with politics, yet. But like any population, bigots exist and are loud and worthless.

What parts of the Linux community do you see this in?

The parts I'm in have no Nazis and not much right wing support because right wing nowadays trends Nazi.
