Libs are going to complain about fairness just enough for pedophile-defenders to say "See? They're defending Bill Clinton." Then it becomes another culture war issue that everyone argues about in comment sections for the next few years. Eventually Dem leadership tells everyone to stop talking about it because you're helping Republicans by being on the right side of "pedophiles run the world." Even worse than just telling people to stop talking about it, they'll treat you with mock and incredulity. "Oh you think Epstein was real? What are you? Some kind of Chinese bot?"
