It helps the victims. Spreading their hate online actually hurts women and queer people. Those actions have consequences. The affected people get to choose how they want to fight this battle, when they show mercy and when they tell their opressors, that the propaganda they spread about our comrades to exclude us from online spaces split our ranks and enable real world violence does indeed make them our enemies, even if that hurts their so very fragile feelings.
You can love your enemies, extend a hand, but you still have to defend your rights from those who cling to unjust privileges.
I'm not completely convinced, but you've made some good points. I'll take the L on this one.
