Weird sexism aside, I don't disagree with the sentiment of the "THAT HAPPENED" script writing that is so prevalent these days. It immediately turns me off if it exists in a show.
Its much different from the "THAT HAPPENED" type dialogue, but it IS just as weird and quirky as New Vegas' writing, which just proves further that everyone trying to dunk on the show for this is a fucking tourist.
The show is very mediocre, but the clip in question fits the series.
I haven't seen it, the new season is out now? Might take a look. First was surprisingly OKAY. Not as terrible as I thought it'd be.
Oh no I think season 2 starts in january or something. They just released this clip within the last day or two for promo.
I am very much in the camp that season 1 was just fine.
I think it's like next week or the week after
I liked season 1 except iirc of course they made the communist lady evil or whatever. I don't remember but it was something like that
Yeah, they went "all the factions suck, actually" - which I guess is better than thinking the Brotherhood of Steel are the Good Guys of the setting. That kind of listless nihilism does just lead to implicitly having to decide who the least bad is and why it's okay that they do a little less fascism than the rest.
...but now that I think about it, I don't really remember much of it either. Such a shame, the prop work was awesome - I'd have watched ten episodes of "Propmasters Make Fallout Stuff".
i don't think that applies to this series from what's been released so far.
this 'criticism' is literally just sexism because it's totally unmoored from any context
Apparently "Quirk Chungus is a specific incel term. https://hexbear.net/comment/6733076 So the the op was just being sexist.
