pfft fake. if I got stood up and ghosted, i wouldn't stay at the nice first date restaurant, i would go get two armloads of shame food from the takeout place that gives me gastro distress and completely lose my self-respect on my own couch. like a champion.
idk man, 300 guys getting stood up all at once is bound to cause some brotherly camaraderie, rather than the usual pit of despair
i think of it less like a pit of despair and more like a temporary detour / an alternative plan for the evening.
but anyway, if some kind of camaraderie developed between a significant fraction of 300 people all realizing they got stood up and ghosted during a coordinated deception by the owner-proprietor of the place where they are currently located, i suspect the camaraderie would not be to the immediate material benefit or safety of the owner-proprietor.
