It's the dunk tank.
This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.
Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.
Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.
Rule 3: No sectarianism.
Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome
Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)
Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.
Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again
I didn't think it had anything to do with what you just said. I remember it being a meme that started on Reddit as a way of calling someone a rightwing person who is making stuff up. Both "post hog" and "hogout or logout".
The founding incident happened when users baited a rightwing user by demanding they post pictures of their penis as evidence in a 'pics or it didn't happen' situation. With the chapo subreddit and so many other left-wing subreddits now removed from Reddit, sadly I can't find the original thread anymore.
Well it did.
If you can't see how "hog out or log out" is intentionally analogous to "tits or gtfo" you've missed a fairly important part of it.
The version I heard was a chud wandered in on the same account they posted to nsfw subs in. People noticed this and and started roasting the guy. His defense was that “it was a bad photo”. He eventually got mad and posted more.
I think Awoo is right in terms of memetic etymology or whatever tracing the origin of a meme is called.
Etymemology
I was there but I don't remember many of the particulars. I think people were saying he must have a tiny dick because of some shitty things he was saying. It was a pretty normal dick for what its worth but he had it clenched in a weird death grip.
