"while Costco was seeing a direct impact from tariffs on imports of some fresh food items from Central and South America, it decided not to increase prices 'because they are key staple items' for its customers."

Is.... Is this a capitalistic megacorp... Acting like a good guy?

There are far crappier megacorps than Costco. They've actually managed to turn treating their workers and customers right into a successful business model.

As a counterpoint to the unlimited corporate greed you usually see, their corporate policy puts a cap on their overall profits to 14%. Any excess they roll back into lower prices for their members.

Yeah, Costco is surprisingly not scummy under its current leadership. They and Arizona are the only two I don't have any major issues with.

Them and Newman's Own. Although they're both very similar outliers, they're wealthy people intentionally hijacking capitalism to do something good in the world.

They partner with Flock cameras so they aren't the good guys.

Do you have a source please? I haven't seen any Flock cameras at Costcos local to me. However, searching for more info did uncover this Flock link:

Ah man, I didn't know this. All Corporations Are Bastards!

When the revolution comes (spoiler: it won't, but I like to dream) we eat the worst corporations first. Kroger's, Mejer, Albertsons, United Natural Foods, Wal-Mart, Amazon.

I'm not saying Costco is perfect, but they're a lower priority.
