Since Trump is willing to give up territory for peace, I love the EU idea of trading Alaska for Crimea, Von der Leyen floeated the idea.

IDK about other issues, but on Ukraine and EU defense she most definitely has been in the front of those issues in EU, and with a very clear cut plan. Strongly advocating help to Ukraine, and European independence of USA.
I know she is somewhat controversial, but we could do a lot worse than her in EU ATM.
