bruv, NCIS existing is literal proof policing doesn't work🤣. Why would you need a Naval Criminal Investigative Agency if the Navy itself can't account itself‽ If the show was satire, I’d be dead, suffocating from laughter.
I mean pretty large parts of it are, also why they are part of the writers internal game to see how ridiculous they can make the tech scenes in crime shows go.

where on top of hacking apparently being a huge visible thing that flashes stuff all over their computer screen to make it blatent something is happening, somehow they try to fight back... and type faster by having 2 people on the same keyboard.
That one I can see it's an Occam's razor metaphor, but yeah lol.
