Everyone who has ever been on the fence about Zizek, excusing his polemics as thought exercises, watch this video. Realize that the ambiguity behind his arguments, their dubious links to socialism, were merely masking reactionary beliefs.
It’s become a sort of political coming of age for me, realizing that people who don’t outline their socialist beliefs even in passing or those who hide behind irony, are not to be trusted.
Looking back at Zizek, he’s always been a fascist asshole, he’s just completely masked off because his mental faculties have left him. This is without getting into his long history of doing actual material harm
