Since municipal socialism is a pipe dream (shouts out to whoever posted that Lenin passage recently), I’m honestly still not convinced ZM isn’t doing his best with good intentions.

The idea that he would ever be able to implement his policies unabashedly while still fully within the liberal crapitalist framework has always felt unrealistic, which is why we need to completely tear it down and start over.

All this to say, I’ll let Zohran cook. Inviting shitty people to the table is morally incorrect but what can you expect in this country? It’d be sick for Zohran to lead NYC to secede but it ain’t happening. In my head, he’s got a year to produce at least an in-progress roadmap if not actual results, or whenever he makes policy that actively hurts those he supposedly campaigned for (and maybe he already did that and I missed it so let me know if that’s the case).
