Smugposting is counterproductive, but keeping a firm stance of contradicting socdem cope is reasonable
Honestly, given that it's one position out of many and the vast majority of the appointees on the committee are better, this is fairly minor (at least so far). The concessions with respect to the NYPD are much more drastic.
