It is? It has a touchscreen and supports Bluetooth peripherals. What portion of sales does that not include?

If I don't game why would I buy a pc tablet with permanent controllers attached?

If you don't game why are you interested in a gaming first device? It's like ordering burger but substituting the beef for chicken because you don't eat beef, order the chicken sandwich!

Holy shit dude... There are not other products at that price point built for linux with the specs of the deck that are in tablet form. What dont you people understand about that. Holy fuck. That's a perfectly fine reason for me to think of the deck as tablet and thinking of diy ways to make it a tablet by removing the controller aspect.... Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ yourself.. I'm sure it's a fine device that can be used for a lot of different thing but it's not meant nor maketed as anything but a gaming device so why bitch about it's gaming features being in the way of the other things you may want it for. That would be like taking a pick-up instead of a car then bitching that it had a truck bed in the back that you didn't need to use.

Idk why would you?

This makes no sense. Why are you even in this topic?

It would make a great Linux tablet for the price...

Is there any other Linux based tablet with those specs?

im surprised no one has released a controlerless shell for diy conversion.
