A place to discuss and support all Steam Hardware, including Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and SteamOS in general.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

If you're going to main your games on a steam deck, definitely go with one of the higher GB versions.

I haven't had any issues just running games off a microSD card.

Or the lowest GB version and upgrade - though the 64GB is no longer available, so I'm guessing that's less economical than it was.

64gb was the lowest they offered at launch. Though it certainly felt like 16gb without the SD card in place.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Haven't had 64GB in my deck for a long time.

Depends how many games you have on the go at once and how fast your internet is, I've never felt limited by the 256GB model
