It's just that there's doubts if we'll ever get closer to that socialist utopia than what we've seen so far. I hope we do but so far it hasn't gone well

I hope the one benefit we get out of this trump fiasco is people starting to look around and realise things could be much better. Unfortunately dropping literacy levels are making people easier to trick. Memes and short form videos are one of the best ways to communicate to them. And you better believe that groups with bad intentions are paying people up post things that push their ideas.
