But that's not what we're getting. Lot's of series either are or have become 10 epusides of over-bloated visual spectical with bad writing desperately trying to be a 10 hour movie.

I will take 20 episodes of low budget gold over 10 episodes of shiny poop.

Ok? Good thing a full season is only ~20? And the benefit of a full season is the character development, which is where the gold comes from, not some 10 episode story you forget about next week.

10 would me that have to omit many things, but currently streaming are penny pinchers so they mostly only do 8-10 at the most. i think many shows on prime suffered because the budget went to ROP seasons.

10 is too short for scifi, at least do the normal sg version, 10 per half season to flesh out more material. 10 isnt enough to do that.
