I never got the point to preserve a dead body, it's like freezing rotten tomatoes, if you want to freeze the tomatoes you freeze them before they rot
Freezing his live wife probably would have sparked even more debate
Especially seeing how she died of lunch cancer, when thawed the damage will still be there surely?
I don't see the problem, just stop feeding her lunch
Generally the idea is since it would take something like nanobots to repair the damage from freezing, whatever killed them is a simple repair beyond that.
It's not really about what is practical and feasible to recover from, it's just about what can get them the furthest into the future as intact as possible. Since it's gonna take decades or centuries for there to be any chance of success.
