Probably only thing keeping her alive. If she retired she die within the year. Sad if you ask me, but the older generations only know work.

Yeah there was a world where that was all there was, family took up the rest and to say no to either was a Big Deal.

It just seems to be a thing in general, that if you stop, you just… never start again. My grandpa always credited his farm with keeping him going strong. Well, that and grandma’s cooking lol
