All domestic dogs still have a prey drive. Its why they shake toys etc.

They did after all decend from an ancestor in common with wolve s. But approx 11k years of breeding has diminished the drive in some breeds. Ment to be companion dogs etc. Amd increased in in others. Mainly fighting dogs.

But while much of that breeding is intentional. You cannot garrentee a breed has a set level. Breeding is just not that accurate.

But as a genral rule of thumb. Some breeds take more work to keep that drive under control then others. Add the effort to breed large muscular dogs for fighting or sales. And some dogs can be as risky as any other carnivore species.
