Deeply unpleasant combination. Like sensory nightmare almost. And when I scrub with pumice it exacerbates the poison oak rash and spreads the oils around.

That’s a myth, the oil reacts with your skin once; once washed off, it doesn’t cause your body to generate more to spread to other body parts or people.

However, it the oils can remain on your clothing or anything that touched the plant so definitely clean thoroughly!

Try calamine lotion to ease the symptoms, get your doctor to give you a big dose of fexofenadine if they find it appropriate (this is the medical solution that stopped my 2 month long rash overnight), and just keep the bandages fresh. It will pass, and hey you might be mentally immune to itching sensations after. Like a little superpower.
