Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

Fucken a. Excellent post.

I'm pretty sure having children is still intrinsically rewarding for a vast majority of the population. I don't understand how such an advanced country can't see that low birthrates are not a byproduct of sexuality.

Boomer brainworm shit fr. Seriously disappointing.

my 'tankiest' opinionEven if one believed that making more babies will only happen through social engineering and coercion, and even if one refused to make that happen through improving the lives and security of existing citizens, why not directly engineer a solution and IVF a generation of wards of the state? Raise them in supergenius/supersoldier prep creches if you like.

Trying to poke and prod the culture to make more babies happen at the margins of enthusiastic and intentional behaviour can only swell the population in the parts of society which are already strained to their limits and under-served by the existing welfare systems.

It's like the limits of imagination are bound by unscientific appeals to nature or tradition or something, but just for this one thing. It's stupid. The nuclear family is an artificial concept, not a fundamental law.

A rational state should be able to do a better job with more predictably positive outcomes than biological parents.
