RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

After joining music hoarders discord server , now doing major restructure of music library where taking systemic approach to things

  • replacing lower quality files with higher quality ones . Library of various (format|bit rate)s over the years bcus didn't (care back then|think it would matter) , now comin back to bite me in the ass bcus some bandcamp artists (pulled their stuff completely|once free albums now paid and am cheapskate , would go pay , but they'd be connected to account tied to identity I no longer want to associate with)
  • applying album replaygain to those aswell's track (also changed replaygain settings used)
  • prune albums from library no longer feel any attachment to (mostly older albums from free Bandcamp downloads simply bcus they were free that didn't really have attachment to to begin with LOL)
  • renaming files so follow standardised format
  • .lrc files for editability instead embedded lyrics
