This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
See this GitHub page for a collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics.
This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.
Rules:

- We support indigenous liberation as the primary contradiction in settler colonies like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel
- If you post an archived link (excluding archive.org), include the URL of the original article as well
- Unless it's an obvious shitpost, include relevant sources

Diplomatic relations have strained between socialist Lemmy instances Hexbear and Lemmygrad as /c/chapotraphouse@hexbear.net, one of Hexbear's most active and influential communities, ceases federation with Lemmygrad.
The seizure in federation was first noted by Lemmygrad user @Saymaz@lemmygrad.ml, who submitted an inquiry to the Embassy of Hexbear on Lemmygrad.
As of the time of writing, no definite cause for the issue has been made public.
Lemmygrad and Hexbear admins are yet to provide an official statement.
Update:
Lemmygrad and Hexbear admins, @GrainEater@lemmygrad.ml and @CARCOSA@hexbear.net respectively, have confirmed that the issue regarding /c/chapotraphouse@hexbear.net's federation with Lemmygrad is not intentional.
The root cause of the disruption is still under investigation.
P.S.
This comment is mainly a joke. While the federation issue and comments are real, I'm just dramatising for fun.We have not intentionally defederated from any Hexbear community (I don't even know if it's possible to do at a community level with an unmodified backend), and neither has Hexbear according to at least one admin. This is likely just a bug.
I love it, it felt like reading a serious report.
Is this the Sino-Soviet split of our generation? 😭
It seems completely random to me but they can do whatever they want of course 🤷🏼
I just joined lemmygrad and am so confused, what?
Lol, it's a joke. I think the defederation is probably some technical glitch or an oversight. I doubt there is anything more to it.
