Last time I used Bluesky, the largest "antifascist" blocklist was run by UWU-"I'm-a-small-bean"-type sexpests who would put leftist women who rejected them/asked them to stop harassing them and their friends on blocklists next to 4chan groypers and shit.

Because of the way Bluesky works, when you get put on a blocklist you disappear completely from the perspective of any users subbed to the blocklist, even if those users follow you. So these sexpests just made a career of creeping on women across the site, getting rejected, putting them on the blocklist, and moving on after the blocked women were effectively silenced. You could not design a better social media platform for harassing women and getting away without suffering any social consequences if you tried. (Aside from just allowing it in the open like X, I guess.)

Bluesky is objectively the moderate wing of Twitter.

It is fundamentally impossible to make a good web site in the twitter format

I think that person got cancelled and that list is no more lol.

Blocklists aren’t great, but I think they’ve lost their shine. Most users I think understand now that it’s very easy for those to become personal grievance lists and don’t pay much attention to them.

It’s not a great site and I’m only there because of how Twitter is and Mastodon feels dead and unwelcoming to me. Really, maybe we don’t need microblogging anymore.

"microblogging" was always a bad idea it was never good

do show-and-tell in your community center with the people in your community instead of showing your whole ass to the world I say

Show and tell is the greatest activity known to humanity and its not just cause I'm autistic
