That's the scariest part.
This is also why segmentation is important.
I don't want all my shit tied to one account or one "ecosystem" that can be compromised, enshittified, or subject to someone's agenda.
It honestly sounds like a relief for someone that wants to exit the google ecosphere.
The tiny silver lining. So if you want to leave the google ecosphere you just have to expose massive corruption and humanitarian crimes committed by a country. I imagine catching enough ICE footage might grant you that(?)

I started migrating away from gmail at the start of the year. Next is Android. I'm do e with Google. Wish there was something else like YouTube tho.
I moved to NewPipe. No ads, can import yt playlists and subscriptions so you don't have to start over, and it plays in the background or when the phone screen is off
Me too, but you're still using YouTube. I think op means something like peertube
For email you should also get your own domain. So it's much easier to move to another email provider when you inevitably need to migrate again.
