It's an old military base called Christiansø. It's pretty cute, but the lady who runs the bar doesn't know how to pour a beer (she opens the tap halfway so it's all foam. She did let me pour it myself when I asked for one that wasn't just
so that was nice of her)
Is the normal Danish beer a no-foam glass?
I don't know how it looks, but it's a liberalism beer
Extra fun fact regarding Christiansø. They have a tax rate that is 20 pct. points lower than the rest of the country, because they are technically an unincorporated territory and are therefore owned by the Danish Ministry of Defense. Said lower tax rate is completely useless though, because supposedly everything on the island is insanely expensive, owing to the fact that everything must be imported from either Sweden or Denmark, and sailing shit into the middle of the baltic sea is expensive.
Also theres a danish band called TV-2 who has a hit song about being gay on the island and they have a concert there every year.
Also also theres like 7 young people there and when I asked them where they go for a night out, they told me if they really wanna go crazy they take a boat to a nearby slightly larger island and go party in Rønne (which has 13.500 inhabitants). I don't even have a metaphor to explain that, that's just funny.
Partying on Bornholm sounds terrible. But what do I know, I'm from the far western provinces and have no relation to either island
It's the loveliest vacation island according to some cracker named after those things you put in bottles (Morten Korch, den er måske lidt for søgt)
