Almost 1.9 million New Yorkers voted in the 1993 race, when the Republican Rudy Giuliani defeated the Democratic mayor David Dinkins

Totally some early 00s-mid 10s leader of an ex warsaw pact member’s left-socdem party with conservative hangups that goes from 25% of the vote to just 10% as it gets drained by both boring eurosocdems (18%) and anti-austerity socially progressive demsocish socdems (3%)
