I laugh when conservative dipshits cry about reddit being left-wing
It's not

It's just that the Overton window in 'Murica is so fucking right that anything slightly left of fascism is decried as far-left
It's certainly not helped by the fact that 'Muricans are mostly stupid and have zero idea about political theories at all
I got banned from r/childfree because their "top mod" was upset that I put up a post of his saying that women who take advantage of lonely men should be hunted down and killed. He was also a huge fan of ICE doing their shitfuckery
And that's a sub that's supposed to be one of the progressive ones...
It used to be. At least willing to host "left wing" ideas. Then the money bros got into it. I personally left after the api debacle. Should ~~of~~ have done it sooner.
WHen spez starting sucking of MUSK like a couple times, which resulted in a ban wave when elon complained that its already a sign.
those days are long over, pre-2016 was the place to have left leaning ideas, but after trump got elected the 1st term, people started getting bans left and right, and politics sub began its astroturfing.

Anyone who thinks reddit is in anyway left leaning should just scroll popular for 10 posts. I garuntee one of them will be "woman gets what she deserved" and another one will just be outright racism thinly disguised by a fake story made to rile people up against a minority.
I have had stupid yanks tell me (without a hint of irony) that there are concentration camps in my country full of people who refused covid vaccines, and that's why we should all be armed

and yes its mostly bots. propaganda bots, plus OF/link dropping bots spamming some subs to make a presence, and warming up thier accounts.
