I had to install a "Recharge Core During Fast Travel" mod on 4, so yeah i get it.
I have used the unlimited fusion core for power armour in every single playthrough. No regrets. The core can power a generator or whatever for 200 years but only powers the power armour for 5 mins? Yeah nah fuck that.
I use a reduce drain mod for power armor in 4. It takes away the sprinting and standing there drains but leaves most of the other stuff. That makes it a little more fair than just unlimited core but still better than vanilla.
I've played the game enough times in vanilla that I just want to be an unstoppable tank with unlimited ammo and jetpack.
