I honestly felt bad for him. He had the pace but they made him wait until the tires were well done before they let him try. I mean the whining was a bit heavy but the point was there.

I usually don't like him that much but he quite early offered on his own to hand the position back if he isn't able to pass Bearman. There was no reason for the team to not take him up on that offer immediately.

Mercedes hesitated and paid for it no doubt. Was a logical swap argument considering wcc standings
