No it's worse than that. President Camacho actually surrounded himself with the best and brightest, as they were. As soon as someone smarter came along they got him to help solve the problems.
We WISH we had President Camacho right now.
They even voted the most smartest for president.

US news will make a giant screeech war over that dead soldier though the dead Venezuelan children, meh, who cares
To be fair, that’s a long time US presidential tradition, under Democrats and Republicans. A lot of wars and incursions were just egos unable to face being wrong.
