Good effort post. How about starting to call leftist action leftist? If you tell people they are leftists if they oppose the current administrations course the term becomes less scary.

Treat intentions similar - caring for less fortunate people? Leftist. Worrying about working people's rights? Leftist. Praising acts of solidarity? Leftist. Once people realize their intentions are not liberal but actually leftist, they might actually break away from blue MAGA and start becoming a real opposition to the current fascist government.
