Very weird to me to read posts like this. You asked god to bring you to see Jesus (presumably in heaven, literal perfection). You now think god is "punishing" you by giving you what you asked for. This whole post is whining about dying. Like bruh right there you said god is bringing you to see jesus, no? Go up, have fun! Go see jesus in heaven! That's exciting right? I know if I thought there was something better after this I'd be damn thrilled for god to take me there. But Milo is having doctors do everything they can so he can, what work more? He thinks god is calling him to heaven and he's just going to say no?
They don't really believe it. I tend to think it's not even possible to really believe it. Everyone is excited to meet Jesus until they get a terminal diagnosis.
i've seen some people act like they really believe it but it's been in a situation where the person was suffering some chronic issue and they would've done assisted suicide years earlier if allowed to.
I meant supernatural beliefs generally. Nobody has ever seen a shred of evidence for it and the most upbringing can do it get you to say you believe it or mistakenly think you do
christian hypocrisy around death is one of several reasons my indoctrination didn't take
