Here's my prediction for episode one.
Scene: A stranger thing is charging out of a portal at the group.
One of them looks directly at the camera addressing the viewers and raises one eyebrow "Oh here we go again" as they smash the creature in the head with some piece of 80s nostalgia, like a commodore 64 keyboard or some shit.
The scene pauses mid-impact as the keyboard keys fly off spelling out "OUCH". Than a monologue starts, but in the creatures voice. "You might be wondering how I got here, well that's a STRANGE story, haha..."
It feels like every second show does this now. They have to show immediate proof that the show will "get to the good bit" eventually because modern audiences have the attention span of a gnat.
Not gunna lie, that would be funny as fuck. I mean it wouldn't save the show from the dumpster fire it has become but at least it would be a small moment of joy.
