My pick: The Silence of the Lambs

Literally never got the hype, it's an aggressively mid movie. Not scary. No deeper message. Just a snoozefest of a movie.

Bonus Pick: The Godfather

Although I did like the movie, I didn't think it was top tier like its commonly placed. There's a ton of pro-AmeriKKKan propaganda and undertones in it as well.

Bonus bonus pick: The Matrix

I can see why people enjoyed it, the themes are interesting first time around. I just found the action scenes and Keanu Reeves character incredibly cringy. Kind of ruined it for me.

Mother! is very widely disliked and arronofsky I would bet has cried in his bed about this.

It almost makes up for the fact that you can almost hear him masturbating behind the camera while muttering "I'M MAKING A ALLEGORY" to himself.

I saw it opening night in a completely empty theater, and the only reason I didn't walk out is because I was waiting for food to finish cooking in a crock pot at home. It still blows my mind that there were religious people who saw the movie and didn't manage to notice it's just a heavy-handed retelling of Genesis.

It would be overrated if a single person had ever said something positive about it.
