Yes, but the sheer amount of ICE thugs and the fact that there's seemingly no qualifications needed, let alone security vetting, means that ICE getting it is WORSE than the rest of the government already having it.
You don't want cops to be able to spy on you with no due cause, but you REALLY don't want people who wanted to be cops but weren't qualified or trustworthy enough to pass even THAT super low bar to be able to!
