I joined originally after Bernie in 2017, kind of lost interest after awhile. All of the radical members left afaik. I rejoined recently and oh man is everyone libbed up. Someone started talking about the Uyghurs in a group chat and I wanted to throw my phone at the wall. It would be great to try to push these people left, but I feel like I don't I'm the person to do that.

Many such cases. I think the best way to bring about change is to join groups like Red Star (I believe is the name) within DSA who have an organized plan to push DSA left. Arguing with libs who are active because they want to have a friend group doesn't really work well.
