6'2" here, the lack of heel pain is made up for by the fucking kitchen cabinet doors.

And having to buy shoes and trousers from specialists, and having your feet hang off the end of the bed in hotels, and wandering into spiderwebs that no-one else has disturbed yet, and not being able to adjust the shower high enough away from home. Gift that keeps on giving.

I'm tall and my SO is short, finding an appropriate shower height at home is impossible.

Same situation - adding a quality hose showerhead + two different clips on the wall so we can swap it between two heights was an indulgent upgrade when we moved in, and it was worth every cent.

you could get one of those handheld shower nozzles and then put a second mount lower or higher as needed.
