I just platinumed it at 160 hours, and it's been a long time since a game provided that much play time without getting stale. It was well worth the money, and I'm really hoping Kojima is up for a third one. There are still more continents to connect. It would just be nice if they used more local voice actors, because it was weird how few Australian accents were in the game.
Ah that's good to know. I've been enjoying playing it as a slow burn still. As for a third, it came up in an interview 3ish weeks ago and Kojima said:
I always remember that he said every Metal Gear game was going to be his last one right up until Konami fired him.
Right? If he's penned an outline, I've got quite a bit of hope. The man can't not work, and he clearly isn't out of ideas.
Just keep upgrading those roads. Lv. 2 roads make a huge difference in making driving not tedious, and it's essential for a lot of the late-game express orders. Just a reminder, you can go back to Mexico to finish all of those bunkers and get upgrades to things that you might not have thought of. I finished all but two demi-bosses without knowing that there were Lv. 2 blood grenades.
I didn't even know you could upgrade the roads... thank you for the tip.
