It definitely is falling though. I hope someone catches it before it hits the ground.
They will not. It's way too late.
It's never too late unless we give in to cynicism and apathy. It is heart breaking that so many people already have given up the fight.
I'm sorry but it really is too late. The US government has access to all the money, information, and weapons they need to be 100x worse than Hitler. There is no chance this is stopped by overcoming apathy.
The literal only hope is a coup, and I'm pretty sure that if it was going to happen, it would have already happened by now. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I don't read that comment as apathy, more an acknowledgement that fighting seems inevitable at this point. It's probably too late for a peaceful resolution to the current crisis.
It's not too late, but given how little resistance to Trump's regime is taking place in America, there's no indication that anything will happen before it's too late.
