Government suppression of free speech violates the 1st amendment. So being against the constitution makes it illegal.

I wasn't aware that ABC was the government. They may be acting like Trump's personal toadies, but I am pretty sure they are a private organization.

Private organizations that need gouvernement approval for their juicy merger. So its money + coercion organized at the highest level of your country.
