Recently i found out that pip actualy works normaly in Brawe browser. Which was amaising on itsown but now, the question is why it doesnt work in Safari..?

I know you can make it work by “cheating” the system. For example when you play video, put it in “full screen" mode and just svipe to the left to previous app and video will pop up on the screen.

But i dont want to cheat, im wandering why it doesnt just work normaly, like on brawe browser..?

I dont know anything about "cheats", thats what i do with brave. Or make an automation that is triggered by safari closing and its action is play/resume playback. Just try it, k, i dont know what you're looking gor otherwise

Brave needs a hook and they use whatever "cheats" or hacks they need to make things work. Safari doesnt have the same incentive and but they do have an incentive to placate Googe and it would probably piss off their customer if they made it too easy to bypass their enshittifying Yutube

Also by making that not function they create space for a market of plugins which generate more revenue so yea
