There is a Brazilian institute of Marxists that study the DPRK and maintain relationship with them. It used to be called CEPS - Centro de Estudos da Política Songun (Center of Studies of Songun Politics), but recently they changed their name to Instituto Paktu, they have a lot of great information about the DPRK in general and was greatly used for sources about the Korean war in this absolutely incredible video by Canal Nostalgia.

Being in portuguese will probably pose a challenge since you might have to translate it all, but they are the best I know about the DPRK.
