if you take libs' money and keep saying America deserved 9/11 it's bad, actually

[–] plinky@hexbear.net 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

will he say that at a crookedcon?

[–] regul@hexbear.net 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Does it matter?

You made that post the other day crediting Jesse Jackson for making Americans aware of socialism, even though he's never claimed to be a socialist, but Hasan isn't ideologically pure enough for you because he shows up at lib events?

Cause when he talks to politicians, a little respectable lib reporter comes out of his head? at least according to clips i saw of him interviewing aocia/panders.

I don't care he is ideologically impure, i care that he (likely) will just pal around there

He's never going to convince lib politicians to change, that's not how this works. Getting those interviews gives him national visibility, which drives people to his channel, where he can radicalize them more directly. Of course, streaming isn't revolutionary, and most of those "radicalized" viewers will only ever make angry comments online. But that's the maximum extent of his influence as a streamer no matter what he does

a) influence is a two way street, you gotta be realistic about these things

b) he could do a tour of coop businesses in america? you know, real existing stuff? with his money he could fund capital intensive one even?

c) of course they can't change, they are puppets signing what lobbyists tell them to. Considering the opportunities to drag them from the left are limited (you won't get ro khanna on citations needed), however, one can hope they happen when possible with the widest audience available
