About 9.3% of the US populate said they were lgbtq in 2022. May have been higher, depends on how the poll was structured. It had been under 5% for decades before this, which makes me think that the number is definitely higher and people are still wary about telling strangers this information.
Weird shit can set people off sometimes. I was probably born left handed, but my grandmothers wanted no part of that and forced me to use my right hand. About 13% of the US population is left handed, but, how meaningful is the number really?
