Most so called Christians have never read the bible, if they did they instantly became Atheists.

There’s gotta be a bit of critical thinking too

There's a difference between Christians and Bible enthusiasts.

There shouldn't be, if you live by "the book" you should know "the book".

The unwritten book of the road

[–] Zagam@piefed.social 2 points 2 months ago

Yeah. I agree. But the fact that we have to use "shouldn't" here pretty much sums it up. I think it may be time for Christians to start thinking about if they have a responsibility to noting the difference.

There shouldn't be. The entire fucking point of a religion is to deify and be a follower. To obey and follow the rules and tenants of the word of the leader or God in which you worship.

If you don't know your scripture, then you arnt part of the religion. Full fucking stop.

Your an idiot at best. At worse your literally being a cultist. To claim to be a member of a group with out knowing the very thing you worship or the teaching.

That's literally by definition a false member, a cultist.

I can't tell if you're yelling me or just yelling in general. But in case this is aimed at me, I'm not a Christian. I'm not anything.

LoL, that's literally how I left Christianity to become an Atheist

That's why you know that the "real" Christian's never have read the bible from cover to cover.
