  • Fix the feed ramp cuts
  • Lasts over 50 years in service
  • Fends off multiple attempts to replace it
  • Most recent attempt to replace it only makes sense if there's a near-peer conflict (code for Russia or China), rather than fighting insurgents
  • Units outfitted with the new M7 hate it
