Ban PitBulls
Dog bite severity varies by the breed of dog, and studies have found that pit bull–type dogs have both a high rate of reported bites and a high rate of severe injuries, compared to other non–pit bull–type dogs.
Pit bull–type dogs are extensively used in the United States for dogfighting, a practice that has continued despite being outlawed. Several nations and jurisdictions restrict the ownership of pit bull–type dogs through breed-specific legislation.
The sole goal for this comm is to ban pit bulls from every jurisdiction and to treat the remaining ones with respect while every caretaker follows the required safety precautions to keep everyone safe. Dog breeds with documented health issues should also be prevented from being forcibly bred into this world.

To be fair, no one should “debate” pitnutters. They do not have a valid counter argument worth a debate.
Or maybe it's not worth debating with the type of person who uses terms like "pitnutters"?
There are no bad dogs, only bad owners.
I love pitts, but the statistics don’t lie. Pitt bulls represent two-thirds of all dog attacks. The next closest breed isn’t even close. It’s not their fault they were bred to be this way, but that doesn’t mean we can ignore a violent behavior that could present at any time, even if the dog was raised in a loving environment.
I’ve seen it happen - an eight year old pitt with no history of behavioral issues and always gentle with humans and other dogs, one day just attacked another much smaller dog who was already cowering away. It’s not a case of a bad dog or bad owners. It’s just instinct. But we have a responsibility to be aware of it and take appropriate measures to prevent it from happening.
You only have the statistics for western countries where there is a culture of raising them as attack and guard dogs.
